The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service has announced that the existing regulations for viewing, filming and photographing manatees in Three Sisters Spring will stay in force for the coming season. They had proposed a stricter set of regulations but these produced such a large volume of feedback, that the decision has been delayed.

The Citrus County Chronicle reports that Ivan Vicente, spokesman and Visitors Service Specialist for the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge has said; “We definitely think that is the most appropriate measure at this time.”
