The 2014 Monterey Underwater Film Festival is set to be held in the Golden State Theatre Saturday August 9, 2014. The film festival coincides with the Monterey Shootout and admission is included in registration. Adam Ravetch, Sylvia Earle, Cristian Dimitrius and Erick Higuera will be presenting.

Backscatter Underwater Video and Photo and Northern California Underwater Photography Society (NCUPS) proudly announce the 2014 Monterey Underwater Film Festival.

The Monterey Underwater Film Festival will once again be held at the beautiful historic Golden State Theatre on Saturday evening, August 9, 2014.

This year’s show is sure to delight the underwater explorer and sea lovers in all of us as we cover four distinct corners of our underwater world from the Arctic Circle through the underwater jungle to the inky depths of the deep ocean and out to the blue water giants off the coast of Baja California.

The Film Festival is included with full Monterey Shootout competition registration. Additional Individual Film Festival tickets are available to the public for $15.00 for adults and $10 for children under 12. This will be a very special evening that you won’t want to miss!
