The 2014 Wildlife Photographer of the Year is now accepting entries for its fiftieth year. For this year’s contest, the categories have been substantially revised. The Underwater category has been redefined as “Underwater Species” and there are special awards for timelapse sequences, photojournalism, “rising stars” and portfolios.

The prizes have also been changed with a grand prize of £10,000. The deadline for entries is 27 February 2014.
